Donation terms

Terms of making monetary donations on schtomy.pl and of payments processed via PayU

  1. These terms set out the conditions for making donations paid directly to the account of Kościół Chrystusowy w RP Społeczność Chrześcijańska Tomy w Tomaszowie Mazowieckim, ul. Jerozolimska 1E, 97-200 Tomaszów Mazowiecki, NIP (tax identification number) 7732368944, REGON (statistical number) 100247772 (hereinafter: the Church), and online through the form available at https://schtomy.pl/en/give/ (Polish version: https://schtomy.pl/wesprzyj-nas/, Ukrainian version: https://schtomy.pl/uk/pozhertvy/), via the PayU service.
  2. The website https://schtomy.pl is administered by Kościół Chrystusowy w RP Społeczność Chrześcijańska Tomy w Tomaszowie Mazowieckim, ul. Jerozolimska 1E, 97-200 Tomaszów Mazowiecki, NIP 7732368944, REGON 100247772.
  3. Online payments are handled by the payment operator PayU S.A. (hereinafter: PayU) – the entity providing the Service to Users, with its registered office in Poznań (60-166), ul. Grunwaldzka 186, a domestic payment institution supervised by the Polish Financial Supervision Authority (Komisja Nadzoru Finansowego), entered in the register of payment services under number IP1/2012, entered in the register of entrepreneurs kept by the District Court in Poznań – Nowe Miasto i Wilda, 8th Commercial Division of the National Court Register (Krajowy Rejestr Sądowy) under KRS number 0000274399, with share capital of PLN 7,789,000.00, fully paid up, holding tax identification number NIP 779-23-08-495 and REGON 300523444.
  4. A donation may be made by a natural person, a legal person or an organisational unit without legal personality, hereinafter referred to as the Donor.
  5. Donations received will be used solely for the statutory purposes of the Church.
  6. Payments can be made 24 hours a day. The Church is not responsible for interruptions in access to the PayU service.
  7. Online donations are made by bank transfer, Blik, debit or credit card, or Apple Pay / Google Pay / Visa Mobile, as supported by PayU.
  8. To make an online donation, fill in the form at https://schtomy.pl/en/give/ (or https://schtomy.pl/wesprzyj-nas/ and https://schtomy.pl/uk/pozhertvy/ respectively), giving the amount, your first name, surname and e-mail address, and then tick the box accepting these terms in order to be redirected to the PayU payment gateway.
  9. Online donations made through PayU payments are not refundable.
  10. The Church protects Donors’ personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act of 10 May 2018 (Ustawa o ochronie danych osobowych) and the Act on Providing Services by Electronic Means of 18 July 2002 (Ustawa o świadczeniu usług drogą elektroniczną). The controller of the data obtained from PayU in the course of making online donations is Kościół Chrystusowy w RP Społeczność Chrześcijańska Tomy w Tomaszowie Mazowieckim, ul. Jerozolimska 1E, 97-200 Tomaszów Mazowiecki, NIP 7732368944, REGON 100247772, and the controller of the data obtained within the online payment service is PayU.
  11. The legal basis for processing personal data is Article 6(1)(b), (c) and (f) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, which permits processing for the performance of a contract.
  12. The Church ensures that the Donor’s personal data received from PayU will be processed solely for the purposes of performing the donation agreement, including the banking and accounting handling of donations, and for the purposes of the Church’s legitimate interest, subject to the conditions set out in the privacy policy.
  13. By making a donation, the Donor acknowledges that the processing of personal data serves the handling of the donation in accordance with applicable law. Personal data may also be used to contact the Donor in the event of problems with handling the donation or to confirm that the payment has been received.
  14. Donors making payments through the PayU service may file a complaint concerning the PayU Payment Service if the donation they made was not carried out or was carried out contrary to the PayU Terms of Service, available here. Complaints may be filed:
    a) in writing – in person at the registered office of PayU S.A. or by postal item within the meaning of Article 3(21) of the Act of 23 November 2012 – Postal Act (Journal of Laws item 1529, as amended);
    b) orally – by telephone or by making a statement recorded in a protocol during a visit to the registered office of PayU S.A., ul. Grunwaldzka 186, 60-166 Poznań;
    c) electronically, through the contact form available at: https://poland.support.payu.com/s/?language=pl.
  15. Matters not regulated by these terms are governed by generally applicable law.
  16. These terms enter into force on 1 February 2025.
