When your world falls apart, what do you reach for first, the phone to call a friend, or prayer? This sermon looks at the prayer of the first church, offered right after Peter and John were released from custody (Acts 4), and shows that prayer was not their last resort but their first response. The disciples did not ask for easier circumstances but for courage, because their picture of God was bigger than their fear.
