A dark country road, a little girl left by the gate, and a father who forgot her, yet she waited, because he had promised to come back. This story opens a sermon on Revelation 19, where after long chapters of suffering a song of victory finally rings out: “Hallelujah!”, the wedding of the Lamb, and the rider on a white horse, the King of kings. God not only entered our history, but He promised to do so again. Therefore, as we commemorate Jesus’ first coming into the world, we want to continue our journey through the Book of Revelation to prepare for His second coming.
