An imprisoned Chinese pastor asked his guards for the filthiest job in the whole prison, and that request opened up the very space he had been fighting for. This story introduces a passage from Mark (Mark 1), where Jesus, after an exhausting night of ministry, rises before dawn to be alone with the Father. The message shows that time spent with God is not a religious duty but the source of strength to love people and to speak of Jesus. Listen, if prayer has become the last item on your day.
