The Power of the Resurrection

After hearing about Jesus, a man asked the preacher in complete seriousness whether a meeting with him could be arranged. The question sounded naive, but it was more accurate than many a lecture, because the resurrection means exactly that: Jesus is alive and can be met. That question opens a sermon about the first chapter of First Peter (1 Peter 1). Peter writes there about a living hope born of the resurrection and about an inheritance that nobody can take from us or destroy. Listen if you want Easter to mean more to you than a memory.
