There are questions we cannot answer and that make things awkward: where do babies come from, what happens with us now, what will you do with your life. We push them away and they come back. That observation opens a sermon about the trial before Pilate (Matthew 27). The governor wanted to wash his hands and choose a quiet life, the crowd preferred Barabbas, and the question asked that day comes back to each of us: what will you do with Jesus. Listen if you have long been putting off a decision that cannot be avoided anyway.
