The Story of God With Us

Łódź Adam Szumorek 14.12.2025 Sermon 7 of 11

A simple carpenter from Nazareth packs his things by night, ready to run and take on himself a disgrace that is not his. The story is told by Joseph son of Jacob himself, leading us through meetings at the well, three months of separation, and the news that shattered every ordinary dream he had (Matthew 1). Behind it all runs a question older than he is: where, in fact, is God? Listen to this story told from the inside and see the answer Joseph found over a manger in Bethlehem.

Four Stories

Whenever Christmas approaches, we have the opportunity to reflect anew on the most beautiful story-the story of how God became human and came into the world to save us.

As we read the four Gospels, we discover that each evangelist presents these events from a slightly different perspective. Some focus on the circumstances of Jesus’ birth itself, while others-when speaking of His coming-trace their narrative all the way back to the creation of the world or to the prophecies of the Old Testament.

Yet, in essence, they are all telling one Story-the Story of Salvation. And we are not merely listeners.
We are invited to become part of it-by following Jesus, its main Character.
