A Journey into the Unknown

Someone pushed an invitation to a Hare Krishna meeting into his hand on the street, and he went, because he was looking for something he could not name. That road eventually took him not where the invitation pointed, but to Christ. That story opens a sermon about Philip and the Ethiopian official (Acts 8). The Holy Spirit sends Philip out onto an empty road, tells him to approach a stranger’s chariot and open with a question, and the whole route turns out to have been carefully planned by God.
