How does your life taste, and how does it taste to the people closest to you? That question guides this reflection on Galatians 5, where Paul describes Christian freedom and its two enemies: rule-keeping and self-indulgence. The sermon shows why the fruit of the Spirit is one and not a menu of traits to choose from, and why real change cannot be graded by yourself, someone else has to taste it. Listen if you want your life to have a flavour others will want to try.
Fruit of the Spirit
There Is Power
Everyone would like to be able to love more deeply, enjoy life more fully, live more peacefully, and show more patience, kindness, and self-control. That’s a better way to live, because character matters more than abilities. Such a life is also possible thanks to the work of the Holy Spirit, who transforms us from within in a way that is visible on the outside. THERE IS POWER to change!
