The United Kingdom appointed a minister for loneliness after it turned out that millions of people go for weeks without speaking to anyone. Loneliness had stopped being a private mood and become a public health problem. That decision opens a sermon about the twenty second psalm (Psalm 22). David begins it with a cry about a God who has abandoned him and ends it by promising to tell his brothers about that God, because the psalm does not deny loneliness but leads a person through it to God. Listen if there are days when you feel alone even among people.

Why Me?
In life, we go through various experiences and feel all kinds of emotions. Sometimes it seems like no one understands us, because we’re the only ones struggling with them. Sometimes we also ask ourselves, “Why me?” However, when we turn to the Bible, we can view our struggles from a different perspective. What’s more, we discover that our experiences are nothing new, because many people before us have gone through them, and many Christians are going through them right now-we are not alone.
