You read the clever book, listened to the podcast, walked out of the conference sure you had finally got it, and months later nothing had changed. Why does knowing about a good life so rarely turn into fruit? This sermon looks for the answer in the image of the vine in John 15, drawing on its Old Testament background, and lingers not on the end result but on the process: the pruning, the watering, the daily drawing from the source. Listen if you are tired of leaping over spiritual bars you set for yourself and landing more bruised each time.

How, then, can what we do reflect the Trinitarian nature of God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit?
