In an old story Death goes into a city saying it will take a hundred people, and comes back with a thousand. Asked about the difference, it answers that it took a hundred and fear took the other nine hundred. That story opens a sermon about the passage of the Sermon on the Mount that deals with worry about tomorrow (Matthew 6). Jesus does not tell us to pretend our problems do not exist, but he asks whether worry can add a single day to a life, and reminds us who may be left with the rest. Listen if you have been falling asleep with a list of things that could go wrong.

Why Me?
In life, we go through various experiences and feel all kinds of emotions. Sometimes it seems like no one understands us, because we’re the only ones struggling with them. Sometimes we also ask ourselves, “Why me?” However, when we turn to the Bible, we can view our struggles from a different perspective. What’s more, we discover that our experiences are nothing new, because many people before us have gone through them, and many Christians are going through them right now-we are not alone.
