Imagine having to reach someone whose help means life or death, while a crowd presses in on you from every side and blocks your way. So begins the story of Jairus, whose little daughter is dying, and of a nameless woman who has suffered from bleeding for twelve years, two people pushing through the crowd to get to Jesus (Mark 5). The sermon shows that Jesus did not come for crowds but for individual people: he sees their fear, their needs, and their faith. Listen if you sometimes think your concerns are too small for God.

Questions are like keys. They open doors, prompt us to seek answers, and lead to important discoveries. Some of these questions are more important than others, because so much depends on them. One of the most important questions is: Who is Jesus? Was He a fraud who deceived His disciples and then millions of people around the world? A madman suffering from delusions of grandeur? Or was He who He claimed to be? Who was He? In search of the answer to this question, we embark on a journey through the Gospel of Mark, because we know that so much depends on this answer.
