Do we really have to keep climbing higher, up the rungs of career, money, and recognition, for our lives to matter? When James and John ask Jesus for seats beside his throne on the road to Jerusalem, they hear an answer that turns that logic upside down (Mark 10). The Son of Man did not come to be served but to serve, and it is there, at the very bottom of the ladder, that true greatness begins. Listen and ask yourself why you are climbing.

Who Is Jesus?
Questions are like keys. They open doors, prompt us to seek answers, and lead to important discoveries. Some of these questions are more important than others, because so much depends on them. One of the most important questions is: Who is Jesus? Was He a fraud who deceived His disciples and then millions of people around the world? A madman suffering from delusions of grandeur? Or was He who He claimed to be? Who was He? In search of the answer to this question, we embark on a journey through the Gospel of Mark, because we know that so much depends on this answer.
