The hero of Cast Away survives for years on the thought of coming home, and when he finally returns, he finds an ending he never planned. That image opens a reflection on Elijah, who after his greatest victory runs into the desert and asks God to take his life (1 Kings 19). The sermon shows how God answers burnout: first he meets the simplest needs, then he lets Elijah pour out his grief, and only then speaks, not in wind or fire, but in a gentle whisper. Listen if you are waiting for a spectacular sign while God wants to speak to you quietly.

Do You Hear God?
As we go through life, we hear many different voices. We ignore some of them, while we pay more attention to others. From this cacophony of sounds, we must choose the right ones, because so much in life depends on whom you listen to.
However, in the daily hustle and bustle, it’s easy to miss the most important voice-the voice of God Himself.
In the story of the prophet Elijah, everyone faces the same challenge:
Will they listen? Will the king listen? Will Israel listen? And even-will the prophet himself listen?
In this story, full of noise and conflicting voices, there are those who not only heard but also listened. Sometimes they are the least likely people.
But the most important question is:
Will I hear-and will I obey?
