The groom’s hands are trembling, the ring slips and falls between the boards of the deck, sometimes even the most familiar script fails. So begins a reflection on Jesus, who rides into Jerusalem like a king, yet instead of a coronation curses a fig tree and overturns the tables in the temple (Mark 11). Who Is Jesus?
Questions are like keys. They open doors, prompt us to seek answers, and lead to important discoveries. Some of these questions are more important than others, because so much depends on them. One of the most important questions is: Who is Jesus? Was He a fraud who deceived His disciples and then millions of people around the world? A madman suffering from delusions of grandeur?
