Time

Tomaszów Maz. Jim Johnson 15.09.2019 Sermon 2 of 4

Looking back, do you regret the moments you wasted, and looking ahead, do you fear there will never be enough time? This sermon walks us through Psalm 90, the prayer of Moses about the God who has been our dwelling place from generation to generation and who teaches us to number our days so that our hearts may gain wisdom. It shows that time is a gift from a sovereign God who holds everything under control, even our failures and regrets, and that we can be both grateful and generous with our time. Listen and see how the ordinary moments of your day can become service to God and a blessing to others.

Grateful and Generous

Gratitude and generosity are inseparable. Happy people are usually those who are grateful for what they have. And the more grateful we are and the more we rejoice in what we have received, the more we want to share with others so that they, too, may experience that joy. So how can gratitude and generosity manifest themselves in different areas of our lives? We’ll explore this in a series of sermons titled “Grateful and Generous.”
